Phantom Blade Zero doesn’t have many, but it will throw the odd key at you now and again. Some are more difficult to find than others, for example the Weeping Creek Valley’s Cell door key is more difficult than this one. In fact, this is by and large the easiest key of the game.

Forest Outpost Courtyard Key Location
If you’re looking for the Forest Outpost Courtyard Key, you’ve already ventured through the cave, picked up that Memory Flower, and then came out the other side and been warned off by two fleeing Thieves.
To find the Forest Outpost Courtyard Key, follow these steps and you’ll have it in no time:
- From the Forest Outpost Courtyard Gate, pull a 180 and circle around the pit you just climbed up from.
- Walk up the hill and fight the many swordsmen here.
- After they’re all dead, head into the building with the torch alight on the wall/
- Inside the room furthest into the house, on the table, is the key itself.
Once you have the key, make sure to explore the rest of the area thoroughly, as there’s another of the area’s Blackstone Shards here, and then go all the way back the way you came.
Once you get to the door, use the Forest Outpost Courtyard Key to unlock it, go through and continue on your way, but don’t say the two fleeing Thieves didn’t warn you.
