Phantom Blade Zero is well and truly underway now. You’re ten or so hours in, you’ve just beaten Hua Qianxiao on the bridge, found the third Memory Flower increasing your health, and about to make your way into the tunnel thanks to finding the Crimson Forest Tunnel Crank. All that has happened, and you’ve also just found a new note, and a new Tale in Phantom Blade Zero.

How to Complete the Honor Among Thieves Tale
If you’ve not already, make sure to go back and pick up the letter from the thief! He’s located at the top of the hill by the Crimson Forest Tunnel Crank, and you can fast travel there via the bells; just select the Outlaw Trap bell and you’ll be there in a jiffy.
Once you’ve headed up the hill and killed the thief, taking his letter, make sure to read the note in full, as you’ll need to for context later on. Failing that, if you don’t want to, we have everything you’ll need below.
After you’ve grabbed the letter, head across the trap gap, beating Jing Ye, The Outlaw in the process, and then continue on the path. As you get closer to this next village, you’ll notice a huge wooden bridge across a chasm, and just before that, another Memory Flower.
Head across the bridge, talking to the two woman on it and starting the Secrets of the Baishan Sect Tale, and then continue on. Interact with the Crane Bell before doing anything else, seeing more of Zuo Shang’s story, and then turn around and speak to the Gentle Thief, who is crouching on some boxes inside a hut not far away.
All Honor Among Thieves Gentle Thief Answers
As you speak to The Gentle Thief, you’ll find out that the Nimble Thief is his brother. Soul goes to give him the note, but The Gentle Thief reveals he can’t read, and to ascertain the truthfulness of what you’re saying, and the note itself, he asks you three questions. The three answers you need are contained within the note itself, but for quickness, they are:
- Stole a patron’s Jade Belt.
- Butterfly.
- The letter didn’t mention the child. It seems his fate is unknown.
If you pick the wrong one, don’t worry, interact with him again and you’ll be able to start over. Once you select the third and final answer, he’ll believe you and the note, thanking you for bringing him news of his brother’s death, and rewards you with the Silent Wrap accessory. This will reduce noice from footsteps and assassinations by 50%.
Stealth is a small part of Phantom Blade Zero, so you may not want to equip it just yet with your limited accessory slots, but when you open up another slot or two, you absolutely should.
