Now we are in the final stretch of Act One in The Relic: First Guardian. With only 4 bosses left, to find these bosses, you will need to head into the town of Edens, just the camp that also leads to Caldrok at the top of the map.
Throughout the town of Edens, you will begin to find hints regarding the game’s overall story as well as 3 different bosses that each hold their own unique challenges for the player to overcome. The first of these bosses is Druger, Protector of Edens, who is the village’s defender and has become a Brutal and turned against the village of Edens that you now must save.
How to Find Druger, Protector of Edens in The Relic: First Guardian
As we approach the final area within The Relic: First Guardian‘s Act One, it is helpful to know that the town of Edens is not just home to Druger, Protector of Edens, but is also home to 3 different bosses that each hold their own unique combat challenges that the player will need to overcome.
The first boss you will come across within the town of Edens is Druger, Protector of Edens, and luckily it isn’t too hard to find him, as the town is rather linear with some rather minor detours that will aid you in finding loot.
While you venture through the town of Edens, you will begin at a gate, where you can see that the village has been set ablaze, similar to the first village you ever encounter within the game. This itself is a rather dark thing to see, but as you venture through the village, you will come across notes that explain what has led to this chaos. So you can explore the story on your own; we won’t spoil why this is taking place.
Now that you have entered the village, you will need to follow the path and notes until you eventually stumble upon Tibelle’s Blessing on the corner of a road. After using this blessing, there is some loot ahead of you and a dead end. Once you claim this loot, you will head back to Tibelle’s Blessing and turn right, and there will be a small gated area with a gap allowing you to enter.
This small gap is the entrance to Druger’s boss arena and can easily be missed if you aren’t paying attention.

How to Beat Druger, Protector of Edens
After finding Druger, Protector of Edens’ boss room, you will now have the opportunity to take on this interesting boss in all his glory. Before you can actually fight Druger, however, you will enter his arena and actually trigger the boss fight. This happens by you walking towards a group of monsters that are eating a corpse before Druger comes charging through and jumping up, slamming his shield into said enemies.
As an early warning, the arena for Druger, Protector of Edens, is filled with fire due to the village being set ablaze, meaning that there is very limited space for you to move around in. Due to this, we recommend that you try to avoid moving around the arena and dodging around, as it will likely do more harm than good, and instead stand your ground and use parrying as a main defense, although there are situations where you will have to dodge.
Now that Druger has made a rather dramatic entrance, the time to fight him has begun. Just like many of the other bosses within The Relic: First Guardian, Druger doesn’t wait till you’re ready for this fight; he instead decides to make you ready by doing the same attack he used on the monsters on you by leaping into the air and slamming his shield down upon you.
Although this might seem intimidating, it is quite easy to avoid and/or parry due to the length of time he is in the air; it is easy to predict when he will slam down on you.
UPCOMING BOSSES
- Mortum, The Twisted One
- Dix, The Fallen Heir
A unique tactic that Druger employs is the ability for him to walk around holding his shield up in preparation to be hit. If you wait long enough, he will lower his guard and eventually attack like normal, but if you attack him while his shield is up, this will cause him to parry your attack and counterattack.
When it comes to Druger’s big combo attack, there is only one that he will employ during the fight, and that is his 5-hit combo in which he will first hit you with his shield, instantly following up with his sword; then he will do a crossing sword slash before ultimately doing a large leap into the air, doing some spirals before slamming his sword down on you.
One attack that Druger often uses that could easily take you by surprise is when he uses his shield to attack you, pushing you away from him before following up with an unblockable stabbing attack that has incredible range. Because Druger uses this attack a lot, it becomes a habit to attempt to avoid the unblockable attack through dodging due to this being the only way to avoid it, but the chances of you ending up in fire are highly likely.
In terms of fighting Druger, even though he is clad in armor and looks ready to take on an army, he has relatively low armor stats, meaning that your attacks will do a large amount of damage to him, especially your skills. Because of this, he is quite an easy fight if you can avoid the fire and focus on parrying rather than avoiding.
After you defeat Druger, Protector of Edens, you will be able to claim your rewards, which are the following:
- His Weapon – Sword and Shield of the Guardian of Edens
- His Lore
Now that you have defeated Druger, do not leave Edens just yet, as there is more to find in this location. Once you have beaten him, leave the arena and head right to Tibelle’s Blessing in order to heal before turning back around and continuing down the round to your next boss.
