One click and you're done. Thank you!
Stupid Never Dies continues to be weird and wonderful. You’ve just beaten the third General, Takiyashi-Hime, and after returning to the surface to let the rest of the team know, it turns out the fourth General, Wolfgang, isn’t waiting around!
He’s heading to the surface to get all of you in the mall, and as we know, Davy is no use at all there. He’s an everyday, weak and slow zombie, with no access to the stronger Styles of the dungeons below, so the Doc and Co devise a plan to change that.
If you’re here, you’re likely wondering exactly how to get the Miasma Saplings in Stupid Never Dies. As it turns out, just like almost every other goal, boss and objective in the game, it involves the dungeon. By the end of the guide though, we’ll walk you through everything you need to know to get the Miasma Saplings and prepare for Wolfgang!
How to Find the Miasma Saplings in Stupid Never Dies
After chatting to Doc Steiner, Bessie, and Goyle, you’re going to want to head down into the dungeon once again. As soon as the run begins, you’ll quickly realise that you’re looking for 30 Miasma Saplings!
Head down and through the first door and into the layer below, and the game will explain exactly what the Miasma Saplings are, and how to find them in the game. In short, they’re an item you interact with, and the deeper the layer you’re on, the more you’ll receive from doing so.
You’ll want to approach this objective in the same way you have the previous ones, be it a boss like Duke Dragul, or finding the items to get into his castle. Go through each floor and kill the enemies, keeping a special eye out for the purple Miasma Saplings. They’re not particularly well hidden, and most floors will have at least one or two. As you go deeper, the Saplings will end up providing you with multiples, making the hunt for them easier.
You have two choices, you can play layer by layer and ignore the skip function, meaning you’ll likely run out of time but gain more Miasma Saplings, or layer skip, going to the deeper layers and finding more valuable Saplings.
Either way, I’m sorry to tell you that despite what you’d think, you won’t be finding all thirty in one run. Finish the run, head back to the mall, re-up, and then go again. You won’t have any trouble finding the thirty Saplings this second time round.
Once you’ve found the thirty Miasma Saplings, head back up to the surface and talk to Doc Steiner, who will create a force field that will allow Davy and the rest of the team to fight as if they were in the dungeon, which is incredibly useful considering Wolfgang and his tribes are on the way.
That’s how you find the Miasma Saplings in Stupid Never Dies, and now you’ve done that, you can move on to the end game. There’s not much more of Stupid Never Dies left!
