One click and you're done. Thank you!
You’re half way through the Generals of KOM now, and Stupid Never Dies isn’t slowing down. After your latest drop into the dungeons of the Earth, you’ve found the third General, and one that violently cursed and put to death Everent earlier on – Takiyasha-Hime.
If you’re here reading this, you’re likely struggling a little, but don’t worry, this guide will run you through everything you need to know to beat Takiyasha-Hime in Stupid Never Dies.
How to Beat Takiyasha-Hime in Stupid Never Dies
Takiyasha-Hime is a boss battle with a difference, especially compared to the other two Generals you’ll have encountered so far. Surtr R.S was a random encounter, Duke Dragul had you looking for three items, and now Takiyasha-Hime has you going through multiple doors, looking for the entrance to the arena.
Before you even get to the boss herself, you’ll need to choose between two doors, and go through them. Choose wrong, you’ll keep fighting enemies and your time will run out. Choose correctly, and you’ll come to the boss herself. To make it as quick as possible, you’ll want to pick the set of doors that has the pink/purple archway on it as soon as you can. It won’t be the first fight, but the second or third for sure, and then you’ll be able to leave the cursed place, and find Takiyasha-Hime.
After you’ve made your way through those doors and found her arena, she will immediately open with a torrent of abuse and threats. She doesn’t plan on killing you, but laying a curse on you and tormenting you for eternity. A perfectly nice woman, I’m sure you’ll agree. Threats aside though, I actually found Takiyasha-Hime the easiest of the three Generals so far. Armed with a Will-‘o-the-Wisp and Vampire Styles, I went to town on her as soon as the battle opened.
I unleashed all of my Style skills at the same time, quickly jumping from style to style before the skill had finished, leaving a huge amount of damage on her to begin with. Being level 81 and having a surplus of high levelled Zombie receipts at this stage also meant my normal attacks were damaging, so I very quickly had her down to half health.
This is where Takiyasha-Hime threw a spanner in the works, summoning a gigantic skeleton to attack me, while simultaneously spreading circles of cursed damage throughout the arena. She floated off, and both the cursed circles of damage and the skeleton ended up damaging me.
You can try and kill the skeleton, as it doesn’t have a huge health pool, but instead I’d ignore it and focus on Takiyasha-Hime, as once she’s dead, the others die too. You can also dodge the skeleton with relative ease, but don’t lose sight of it, as it might be slow, but it packs a punch.
Focus your attacks back on Takiyasha-Hime and once again use your Style Skills. I’d beaten Duke Dragul’s Homunculus earlier in this run and chose his receipt, giving me a third Zombie bite, and pairing that with multiple receipts increasing bite buildup, it felt like a near endless chain of bites was possible.
I’d suggest biting and then moving away, as she can counter quickly, but as long as you attack heavily, Stupid Parry where necessary and avoid both the cursed circles and her huge skeleton, you shouldn’t find her too difficult.
If you do happen to die or struggle with Tamiyasha-Hime, go through the next run with the idea of picking all the damage, zombie bite buildup, and boss defense receipts, and then do a few extra levels to overpower yourself. I still had five minutes of time left by the time I’d beaten her, so there’s definitely more time if needed.
Either way, you now know what it takes to beat Takiyasha-Hime in Stupid Never Dies, and how to do it quickly and easy. As soon as you’ve beaten her, you’ll unlock the Sleep in Fear, My Dear trophy, and be left with a chilling message from the woman to pass on to your team.
