One click and you're done. Thank you!
Stupid Never Dies has given us vampires, werewolves, and now a guitar playing Brit who talks all funny and wants to be a lone wolf in the fight against KOM and Co. You’ll meet Dullahan a few times throughout the campaign, but you’ll only have to fight him properly twice, albeit the first time is a bit of a gimme.
If you’re here though, you’re likely struggling with the second opportunity, the rematch against Dullahan, if you will, but don’t worry, we have everything you need! If it’s the unexpected third and final boss fight against Dullahan, well that’s also here! Either way, by the end of this guide we’ll walk you through every tip and trick we know so you know how to beat Dullahan in Stupid Never Dies.
How to Beat Dullahan in Stupid Never Dies
First Proper Fight
The headless biker with a guitar is like nothing you’ve faced in Stupid Never Dies, if I’m honest. Smart-talking, fast, heavy-hitting and some combat variation, up to this point at least, he’s my favourite boss you have to fight. You’ll already have figured out that this isn’t a rematch to the death, but Dullahan is testing your improved strength since the first time you met, so give it your all.
Dullahan at this point has several attacks, all of which can pack a punch, and certainly will keep you moving. Beyond his normal physical attacks, he’ll jump on his motorcycle and, using portals, attempt to run you over.
When he does this, you’ll want to either move out of the way, similar to how you did with Afreet, or use your Stupid Parry. Either works, but make sure you’re not getting hit by it.

On the third or fourth time he’ll finish his motorcycle run and come to a stop, which will give you a brief opening to attack him without worry about being attacked by. It’s at this point I’d suggest using your bite, Davy Burst, or your skills to maximise your damage on him.
When he’s not on his motorcycle, he’ll be walking around the arena trying to hit you. This is where you’ll be spending a lot of time Stupid Parrying, but also attacking him. Depending on the Styles you have (I had Cyclops and Werewolf), you’ll want to make use of ranged attacks to avoid getting hit whilst still damaging him.
Thanks to having the Werewolf, I was quick enough to move around and avoid these attacks, whilst making good use of its Phantom Mirage skill, effectively creating a square of damage around Dullahan that ruined his health bar.

Once you get him to half health, he’ll jump to the middle of the arena and pull out his guitar, which is a surreal experience to see, that’s for sure. He’ll strum the guitar, in turn turning them into wave attacks. You’ll be able to easily jump over these, but don’t try and attack him whilst he’s doing this, unless it’s something quick and heavy like a bite for instance. Why? Well that’s because the guitar waves will hurt you heavily and quickly, and if you’re not careful, you can end up dead for a second time by them.
He will use his motorcycle teleport trick at least twice during the fight, so follow the above both times, and as always, keep moving, parrying and using your bites and skills. The skills become overpowered by the time you’re getting to the layers required for these boss fights, so you’d be silly to ignore them.
Once you see his health drop to zero a long cutscene will begin, and you’ll get plenty of backstory on Dullahan, KOM, the Generals you’re about to fight and more besides. Either way, you now know how to beat Dullahan in Stupid Never Dies!
Second Fight
No-one was expecting to be back here again. After teaming up with Dullahan to find the Brain Cores and access the Core Layer to save Julia, it wasn’t expected for everything to go wrong and another fight with Dullahan to occur. This time though, he’s harder hitting, doesn’t mess about, and has some new attacks to throw in the mix.
In what looks like a present from KOM, Dullahan’s head appears through a portal, landing squarely on his shoulders during a cutscene where he’s talking to Davy. Unfortunately for everyone involved, his head doesn’t come free, but has a one of Takayashi-Hime’s Cursed Stakes buried in it, turning him against you straight away.
Just like in the last battle, you’ll have to contend with his portal and motorbike combo, which this time is far more regularly occurring, and more aggressive to boot. Keep an eye out for the yellow flashing, meaning you can Stupid Parry him at this point, otherwise you’ll want to jump in the air, or to the side. When he comes to a stop, third or fourth time of asking, this is when you attack. Despite the increase in aggression, this follows the same pattern as the above fights earlier in the game.
What’s new is his replacement for his guitar attacks. Instead of standing in the centre strumming his guitar sending soundwaves outward, he instead has a gun. That’s right, he now shoots at you. While this gunshots are incredibly damaging, and will sap your health in a single shot, they’re also telegraphed in a pretty obvious manner. When he’s aiming his gun towards you, you’ll notice a huge, red laser that streaks across the arena. Get out the way!
Other than this, his attacks whilst quick aren’t overly something to worry about. I entered this boss fight at Level 120 with a Werewolf Style to depend on. Even so, thanks to my Zombie Receipts, high level and familiarity with the Werewolf Style, not to mention a LOT of Stupid Parrying, this boss fight against Dullahan was done and dusted within three minutes, and there wasn’t really a moment when I worried about my health.
If you get to a point where your own health is a worry, make sure to Bite Dullahan and replenish your health a little, but you shouldn’t have to do this all that much if you’re levelled correctly and chosen Boss Damage-related receipts.
It’s highly unlikely we see Dullahan again, and as unexpected as it was, you now know how to fully beat Dullahan once and for good in Stupid Never Dies.
