The moment of truth is finally here! Or is it? The culmination of Stupid Never Dies is here, and we’re now face-to-face with KOM. While it turns out this is just the appetiser to our final fight with KOM, it’s still a noteworthy one.
As always, you’re here because you’re struggling, so don’t worry, by the end of the guide we’ll have walked you through everything you need to know to beat KOM in Stupid Never Dies.
How to Beat KOM in Stupid Never Dies
The first time you’ll be fighting KOM (Drugoya) is shortly after Doc Steiner’s death thanks to the Wolfgang attack. Julia disappears, and you’ll have to find her in the dungeons. She’s pretty deep down, and after running into Zaza, he’ll take you and reunite the pair of you.
You all hatch what seems to be a foolproof plan to beat KOM, and then the first fight begins. He emerges from a portal, slow and in a wheelchair. He doesn’t make a noise or speaks, which further cements him as an elite level boss, compared to the chatty Generals we’ve encountered.
This first fight is one where you’ll want to absolutely unload on KOM. Stupid Parry where necessary, as he’ll summon other enemies to attack you, but most of your time and effort should go to attacking him. I had a Cyclops and Vampire style, and focused on using the skills of both of them in quick succession, alongside that of Davy’s default Zombie skill.
Between those, my bites, and my standard Level 100+ attacks, both the normal enemies and KOM took huge damage. Most enemies died instantly, and KOM’S health dropped like a stone. Unless it’s a an Area of Effect attack, you should ignore the lesser enemies, even the Elites, as they’ll just distract you from the task at hand.
As mentioned, this is meant as a taster for the real fight later on in the game, and as such, KOM isn’t that difficult at this point. When you finally see his health bar hit zero (at most a minute or two from the fight’s beginning), you’ll see a cutscene follow.
This shows Julia shooting her high-powered rifle into KOM’s head, and him slumping to the ground. And that’s how you beat KOM in Stupid Never Dies!

Except, as you will see, it’s not. Poor Zaza gets eaten, KOM opens a portal to God-knows-where, and Julia gets sucked into it and disappears again. Now we have to continue on and find her, and then prepare for another fight with KOM in the future.
