One click and you're done. Thank you!
You’re in the home stretch of Stupid Never Dies, with the grind almost coming to an end. You’ve just beaten Everent, found all the Miasma Saplings, and now you’ve unlocked a new mechanic that combines the two!
If you’re here though, you’re probably a little confused with exactly how to unlock the Everent Boxes in Stupid Never Dies, but don’t worry. we have everything you need.
How to Open Everent Boxes in Stupid Never Dies
As the newly formed Everent Sprig will tell you after you meet him for the first time, you can help him grow to his full power by unlocking the Everent Boxes that are now scattered throughout the Landing Zones between the Layers of the dungeon. How do you do this? Well, it turns out it’s pretty simple.
As you explore the dungeons, you’ll obviously enter the Landing Zone, the area between the Layers where time pauses and both Bessie and Acelino are contained. A new addition to that duo will be the Everent Boxes, which will always be hidden behind Bessie near the portal door to continue.
Inside these Everent Boxes will be any number of items you can use to make your current run easier; from Zombie Receipts to extra time, and believe me at the end of Stupid Never Dies, they can be the difference between failing and succeeding a run.
To unlock them, you’ll need keys from Everent, which you can obtain by collecting Miasma Saplings from layers in the dungeons as you run through them. You may think they’re useless as you’ll encounter them before they’re explained, but make sure to grab them!
When you get enough Miasma Saplings, head over to Everent Sprig inside the same shop as where Doc. Steiner was before his untimely demise, and then you can trade in a number of Saplings for a key.
Next time you’re at a Landing Zone with a big glowing bulb/box at the back left, you’ll be able to use a key to unlock the box and get the contents inside.
And that’s it, that’s all you need to know to unlock Everent Boxes in Stupid Never Dies!
