Stupid Never Dies, a weird and wacky title from GPTRACK50, a studio comprised of veteran developers from all over the world, features Davy, a zombie that has fallen in love with a woman in a freezer, and is determined to save her so they can be together. A roguelike with a difference, you’ll be responsible for levelling up Davy until he becomes an over-powered monolith of a protagonist, upgrading and making him better with every run.
The debut title from the studio, Stupid Never Dies is as unique as its premise indicates, and there’s a lot you need to know, including release date, what platforms it’s available on, and what’s included.
Release Date and Platforms
Stupid Never Dies is only available on PlayStation 5 and PC, with the PS5 version including DualSense support with PS5 Pro Enhanced Support as well, and the PC Steam version supporting trading cards, and, more importantly, is Steam Deck Verified. Other platforms have not been announced as of yet, but they’ve also not been ruled out by GPTRACK50. Whether this changes in the future is unknown. with it likely being down to how well the game sells initially. Stupid Never Dies releases on October 21st, 2026.
One click and you're done. Thank you!
Game Modes – Single Player
There is only one game mode in Stupid Never Dies, a single-player roguelike campaign that forces you to send Davy on regular runs into the dungeons, levelling up and improving him in numerous ways, from basic levels to more items, skills and abilities. The game’s hub area is set in a shopping mall with a few supporting characters that can help in various ways, including upgrading yourself with Body Hacks, and many other ways.

With the world having been destroyed prior to the beginning of the story, you’re tasked with bringing an end to KOM (King of Monsters), after he’s killed 98% of humanity thanks to an invention of his. This is where the roguelike elements come in, as each dungeon dive is designed to not only be varied and save repeating, but also make you strong enough to do just that. As zombies are seen as the lowest of the low in this new world, that’s not as easy as it seems.
