Atomfall – Where to Find the Nail Bomb Recipe

Are you finding Atomfall difficult? Struggling to find the right weapon or keycard for the situation? How about missing a key recipe? In this guide, we’ll explain exactly where you can find the Nail Bomb Recipe, what you need to craft it, and what it does.

EDITOR’S NOTE
There are multiple locations of the recipes in Atomfall, so depending on your playstyle, you may have already found the recipe below. This is just one location available.

Nail Bomb Recipe Location

For this Nail Bomb Recipe Location in Atomfall, you’ll want to head to Skethermoor, or more specifically, the Brinsop Manor Cellar at 39.4E, 77.5N. You’ll be greeted with something of a maze-like area, where you need to snake your way around until you find the cellar door. It’s not particularly difficult, don’t worry.

Go down into the cellar and you’ll find yourself surrounded by traps. Disarm them if you have the skill, otherwise move carefully passed them. Don’t ignore the Training Stimulants in the rooms directly in front of you, either.

Once you’re satisfied you’ve found everything, move round to the right and you’ll come across the lost Russian spy (from the Infiltrators Lead), as well as even more loot, including the Nail Bomb Recipe on a table in the dark.

Nail Bomb Recipe Ingredients and Effects

Now you have the Nail Bomb Recipe, you’ll be free to craft it whenever you like/need to, as long as you have the required ingredients to do so. To craft it, you’ll need several materials:

  • Scrap – 10/10
  • Gunpowder – 2/2
  • Gun Oil – 1/1
  • String – 5/5

Once crafted, you’ll have access to a deadly and brutal throwable that can make mince meat of the deadliest enemies. The effects of the Nail Bomb are obvious, but as well as the explosive damage caused, it’ll cause bleed damage, meaning it can be the perfect throwable for a group of enemies, saving your life in moments where you may be overwhelmed. It’s also something you’d want to save for the fleshier enemies, less so the mechanical ones like the Protocol Mechs, as the bleed damage won’t work against these, for obvious reasons.

There is a huge list of recipes in the game that you can craft, including the Sticky Bomb, the Poison Bomb (a very good crowd control throwable), the Combat Stim, which can save your life when you’re in dire need, the Strange Tonic, and many more.
