Atomfall – How to Find the Excalibur Easter Egg

Are you finding Atomfall difficult? Struggling to find the right weapon or keycard for the situation? How about missing a key recipe? Well, no matter the issue, we have everything answered to make the game incredibly simple for you. In this guide we’ll explain where you can find the Excalibur Easter egg within Atomfall, allowing you to gain access to a unique melee weapon, as well as a huge nod to an iconic piece of British folklore.

Where to Find the Excalibur Easter Egg

When it comes to Atomfall, there are plenty of weapons to discover in the numerous locations that you explore, but there is only one weapon that is mystical and full of mystery to those who are familiar with British mythology, and that is the sword Excalibur.

Although it is not named as such it is very clear that this sword is heavily influenced by the sword of legend, as players are able to find it within Casterfell Woods just outside of the Druid Castle at the coordinates 20.9E 86.6N.

Once you arrive at the coordinates above, you will notice that the sword in the stone is sitting there waiting to be drawn by any unsuspecting player. As you approach the sword, you can attempt to pull the sword out of the stone with a rather long button-holding prompt.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like the playable character will be the King of England, though, as the sword does break after the prompt is finished, causing the sword to break in half, but this doesn’t mean that it is entirely useless, as the player can pick up the broken part of the sword and use it as a melee weapon.

Although there are no stats to speak of, the weapon does state that it does high damage and allows for a chance at bleed damage to be placed upon the enemies, and it just looks cool running around Atomfall with half a sword, taking on cultists and other enemies that block your path.
