Atomfall – How to Find the Narnia Easter Egg

Atomfall – How to Find the Narnia Easter Egg

Are you finding Atomfall difficult? Struggling to find the right weapon or keycard for the situation? How about missing a key recipe? In this guide, we’ll explain where you can find the Narnia Easter Egg so you can find not only some incredible loot but also one of the many impressive Easter Eggs in the game.

The Lion, the Witch, and the Easter Egg

Due to Atomfall being set in the United Kingdom, it would make sense for Rebellion, the developers behind the game, to weave in nods to popular British literacy and other media to show its appreciation for these different stories that have been weaved throughout the years.

One of these stories that Rebellion has provided a small nod to is The Chronicles of Narnia from C.S. Lewis, or, to be more specific, the book The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Throughout the years there have been numerous versions of this story, whether it be books, movies, or video games, leading it to be an important part of British literacy.

Within a burnt-down village within Skethermoor in the game, a cellar can be found in which this Easter Egg resides. Inside this cellar, at the coordinates 37.8E 73.2N, players will be able to notice upon looking around that there are three paintings.

The first painting on the right as the player walks in is of a forest blanketed in snow that has been moved over to reveal a button; the second painting, which is in a room straight on from the entrance, has a lion on it; and the third painting, which is to the left of the entrance, will have a witch and a cat.

For obvious reasons, every piece of this Easter Egg resembles a part of the story; whether it be the world of Narnia in the first painting, the lion in the second painting, or finally the witch in the third, each painting shows a part of the story.

To begin this Easter Egg, the player will need to go to the painting with the forest on it, which has already been moved over, to reveal a button. Once that button is pressed, the lion painting will move aside to reveal another button, and again, the same process will happen with the witch painting, but instead of being a button, it will be a lever. Once all three buttons are pressed, a wardrobe across from the witch will swing open, revealing a passageway.

Unfortunately, this passageway doesn’t lead to a mystical adventure in a snow-covered land but does lead to a small bunker with some loot inside for the player to use in their journey. As the player delves further into this bunker, they will come across a small living quarter with 4 beds in it, seemingly adding to the idea this Easter Egg resembles The Chronicles of Narnia.

Other Easter Eggs in the game include a Doctor Who TARDIS, and a King Arthur Excalibur sword, as well as many others you won’t want to miss.
