Within Control Resonant there are a lot of chapters and bosses that you will encounter, and the Hedron Parallel is one of these bosses and they can be found rather late in the game, as they are a part of the game’s final chapter, so if you haven’t managed to get to the Unknown yet, you will be reading spoilers below.
How to Find Hedron Parallel in Control Resonant
As I have said above, the Hedron Parallel is a boss which can be found within the final chapter of Control Resonant, where the player will have managed to enter the Prime Candidate Training section of The Oldest House and completed said section of the game.
One click and you're done. Thank you!
Once you complete this section of the game, the story begins rather directly, with the player having to head back into the Prime Candidate Training section of The Oldest House in order to begin climbing a patterned part of the building in order to reach the Unknown, which is the final area the game has in store for players.

Actually finding your way to the Unknown is a rather simple task, as the game does get incredibly linear at this section of the game with two paths that are identical and end in the same place, but it allows the player some freedom of choice rather than just following a set path.
As you enter the final room in the Prime Candidate Training section, you will see it has changed, and a large spire reaches to the sky. This spire indicates where you want to go, and the two side walls in this room are your path. Now that you are on the path, it is rather simple to follow it, as again it is pretty straightforward, or should we say straight upward, as you continue to climb further and further into the sky before eventually arriving at a door that will open out into the Unknown.
After you exit this door, there isn’t a lot to do in this area for now, as the game has taken a more direct path, as it has now laid before you a Fault that you need to interact with in order to progress. Just like all the other Faults this one is incredibly linear, with only one path to take before you inevitably approach the boss arena with the Hedron Parellel.
How to Beat Hedron Parallel
Although the Hedron Parallel is a boss, it arguably doesn’t put up as much of a fight as the Resonance that you fight throughout the game, with it only using a few different attacks against you while also not being the actual enemy you fight but instead its numerous counterparts floating around it.
If you are wondering if you are ready to take this boss on, do not worry as we have included the build we used to fight this boss below so you have no need to worry. The build we used was:
- Glaive – Wide sweeping attack that deals raw damage
- Crush – A slow but high-damage attack that can knock enemies down
- Split Pivot combo finisher – A spinning blade that appears at the end of a combo
- Volatile Anomaly – Summons an ally that shoots enemies and can be thrown at them
- Inferno – Turns your melee weapon and Volatile Anomaly into fire based attacks
- Push – Allows you to push enemies with great force
- Growth – Summons turret-like enemies that inflict Infected status effect
- Spike – Summons an Astral Sphere that attacks enemies and inflicts the Astrolized status effect
In regard to the attacks the Hedron Parallel will use against you, they are each essentially a different variation of the same attack, which is where the boss will shoot glowing golden objects towards you in different shapes and sizes, with some being straight lines going lengthwise or heightwise, some being in the shape of a plus, or even just a simple block of them.
There is no telling which version of this ability the boss will send towards you, so it is best to keep an eye on the boss as best as you can so that you do not get hit from behind with these abilities and caught off guard, but other than this, the boss doesn’t do a whole lot to fight back.
When it comes to the smaller versions of the boss, again there is much fighting to be seen here with these smaller enemies moving around the boss to keep you moving, while also moving towards you like a sawblade but very slowly.
Because of the lack of attacks and general tankiness, this boss is quite easy and shouldn’t pose much of a threat to you as a player, but if you do not watch out for its attacks, they can chip away at your health quite easily.
After you defeat this boss, you will earn some rewards, as it isn’t a Resonant, so you won’t earn a skill; instead, you will earn:
- 3x Patterned Thought
- 1x Ordered Image
- 629 Source
