After you have obtained yourself the Reach ability in Control Resonant, you will likely already feel a massive surge of power in your traversal skills, but now you can look to climb even higher and even upside down as you look to obtain the Gravity Shift ability, which will allow you to climb up certain walls and ceilings, allowing you to explore so many more locations.
How to Get Gravity Shift in Control Resonant
In order to acquire the Gravity Shift ability in Control Resonant, you will first need to make your way over to the West Incursion Zone within the game, which has been described by the characters in the game as the toughest location, and this is arguably correct with numerous threats waiting for the player.
Once you enter this area, you will begin to see why this area is so infamous within the game, as reality is entirely warped here, with streets being in the sky, buildings being combined with each other, and so many gaps you will constantly be worried about falling to your death.

Sadly you will not be able to fully traverse this location yet, leading you to gain the Gravity Shift ability. To begin your search for this ability, you will need to head to the left-hand side of the West Incursion Zone, where there is a large car park where all the various cars in the area are trying to head to, which Dylan has been chatting to Zoe about since you arrived. It’ll also be a specific quest regarding Jesse, but no spoilers.
As you arrive, you will be guided to an entrance on the floor where a door will be locked with a note mentioning that the person in control of this car park has gone to the laundromat to put their clothes in the dryer. This may seem like a complication, but it isn’t that bad, as the laundromat is on the other side of the car park, but sadly it is locked.
In order to open the laundromat, you simply need to head to the rear of the shop, and a door will be open there, which will allow you to head into the store and obtain the key. Now you have the way into the building. You may be wondering, as you explore, if you can simply shortcut into the car park, and yes, you can, but we do not recommend it, as this could break the mission, as you can simply jump from the roof of the laundromat building over to the car park, but it is simpler to open the door with the key and head up the elevator.
After you complete this objective, you will need to head to the top floor of the car park and head to the centre of the location where a giant abyss can be found. You will now have to ignore your better judgement and simply jump in and head to the bottom of the abyss, where you will then come across a gap leading to the TV you need to acquire this new ability.
Just like gaining the Reach ability once you trigger this TV, you will then have the opportunity to trial out this new power before putting it to use in dozens of different ways. Finally, after you gain this ability and head back out of the Fault, you will need to climb your way out of the abyss, and thankfully you now have the Gravity Shift ability to help you do this.
Be warned: due to the trippyness of this ability, you will find yourself getting lost every now and then, but do not worry, as this can help you in some ways, as there is some loot hidden in this area that will help you in your adventure.
