Control Resonant doesn’t let up, does it? You’ve just completed Carbon Copy Part 2, and now, as you go to exit the apartment building, Part 3 starts out of nowhere. You’re on the apartment roof surrounded by Hannah’s, or is it Heidi’s, and need to get to the bottom of this bizarre tale. Don’t worry, there is no Part 4. By the end of the guide, you’ll know exactly how to finish Carbon Copy: Part 3 in Control Resonant!

How to Finish Carbon Copy: Part 3 in Control Resonant
As I’ve already mentioned, you’ll have just finished the second part of this quest, finding Heidi in her apartment bathroom, dead. There’s no explanation as to how she got there, or what happened to her, but as you’re leaving the apartment block and heading to the roof, you’ll come across a huge number of copies of her, and the third and final part of the quest will begin.
Follow the Trail of Hannahs in the Park
You’ll need to find out more about what’s going on. On the rooftop opposite to where you are now is more of the copies, and as you get there, you’ll see the trail of them continues on throughout The Park. That’s all you need to do at this point. Follow the line of copies throughout The Park district.
Jump up and over the wall of Mold, and head straight down the street ahead. Be careful to avoid the Mold enemies that’ll be in your way, and at the end of the street, head right and down to the parking garage. You’ll see one of the copies outside looking up at it, so it’s difficult to miss. Head inside and straight through to the other side. Turn left and run for a little while, until you see a huge contingent of the clones on your right, all standing outside a factory with a Power Core Station right next to it. Outside the door of the factory is the actual Heidi, who you can chat to.
She’ll give you a key to the locked door by her side, where she says she’s locked a ‘changing’ Hannah. Now, we try to save her.
Try to Save Hannah
Enter the factory warehouse and you’ll find Hannah, who it’s safe to say, has more than ‘changed’. She’s fully mutated into one of the Mold enemies, albeit she does seem to have some sort of consciousness left. You’ll need to talk to her, try to reason with her, and ask her what’s happened.
Quite predictably, she’s not particularly good at explaining, and keeps asking for, and then demanding, that she see Heidi. She knows she’s close, and she refuses to do anything, go anywhere, or even let Heidi go. And now, it goes from trying to save Hannah, to having to defeat her.
Defeat Hannah
As mentioned, Hannah is a giant Mold enemy. She’s a little stronger than the ‘basic’ variant she looks like, and is significantly quicker at creating mini spores, meaning you can be quickly overrun if you’re not careful. The environment is big enough and over two levels that you’ll be able to run away if that does happen though.
Defeating Hannah is much like the other Mold enemies you’ll have found so far. If you have Ignite or Inferno, definitely use that, as Mold hates the fire attacks, and ensure you’re making good use of your finishers, secondary combos and executions. Continually dodge, don’t stop attacking, and avoid the poisonous fluid that ends up on the floor. That will hurt you and drain you quicker than you realise. She’ll also shoot at you with ranged infectious attacks, so don’t let them hit you.
There’s no happy ending for Hannah here, so as long as you keep dodging and attacking, and you’re not underleveled for this point in the game, you’ll make light work of Hannah. She isn’t the hardest boss, and you shouldn’t have a lot of trouble with her at this stage. Once you’ve beaten her, don’t head outside straight away.
Instead, head through the red door and collect the box, but also destroy the Mold covering the door. There’s an Arcade machine here you can play. Now you’ve done that, head back outside and talk to Heidi.
Talk to Heidi
Talk to Heidi and tell her the bad news. She will blame herself, understandably, but Dylan will support her and tell her to wait for the other team to come pick her up. Once that’s happened, you’ll have finally finished the Carbon Copy: Part 3 quest in Control Resonant, and there’s no more parts! You’ll receive ‘Untapped Medical Alert Bands for your trouble, an artifact you can unlock in the Gap, but yeah, that’s it.
