How to Stop Dying So Often in Valor Mortis
Throughout the entirety of Valor Mortis, you will always be at risk of enemies taking you down, whether it be small blobs on the floor, flesh monsters with guns, or even the numerous bosses, and you will definitely be wondering how to reduce your chances of being defeated by these enemies, and we have three pieces of the simplest advice to give you.
The first piece of advice we can give you is to take your time and don’t rush into every situation; there is no time limit or threat of enemies respawning unless you make them, so feel free to handle enemies one-on-one or by simply avoiding them in general. This can especially be said regarding bosses, as they hit like a truck, so rushing in headfirst is a surefire way to get defeated; hanging back and letting the boss stagger itself due to easy-to-navigate attacks that you can parry, and giant attack windows will easily save your skin.
The second piece of advice that we can provide to players is to make sure you use stealth as often as you can. It may not be everyone’s cup of tea in how they play their games, but in Valor Mortis it can be an absolute lifesaver, with so many scenarios being stealthable either by avoiding combat or by sneaking around an entire area and taking down the enemies before they know what hits them.
The final piece of advice we can give is to focus on health and stamina upgrades from the get-go, as these upgrades will allow you to take more hits, deal out more damage, and avoid more attacks than normal, meaning you will easily be able to take out enemies without much to fear.
