To get one of the basic weapons in Valor Mortis, you’ll need to go through a very platform-like segment to get to a particular wooden waggon where you can find the weapon. The pistol is pretty standard, but it gets the job done. It’s just one of the weapons available in Valor Mortis, but it’s one you’ll want to find early on. Don’t worry though, we’re here to help, and by the end of this guide, we’ll have explained how you get the pistol in Valor Mortis.

How to Get the Pistol in Valor Mortis

Near an area where there are some waterfalls and several mountains in Chapter 2, by a lantern you can rest at, you’ll find a destroyed wooden bridge. Shortly after, when you unlock fast travel in Valor Mortis, this area will be called ‘Demolished Path’. When you move through this path, you’ll see a couple of wooden parts forming an improvised walkway going down.

Once you begin going down by jumping, you’ll see a lantern, and then you need to keep going right. You’ll spot a branch to balance on and make your way to the next wooden platform. You’ll encounter an easy enemy to defeat, so get rid of him and then continue on down the path.

After balancing a couple more times, you’ll finally get to the wagon with the table containing the pistol. This is the first gun in the game, so it’s very difficult to miss. You can keep going down and reach the shore to continue exploring the map of Valor Mortis, and continue on your adventure to try and figure out exactly what is going on.
