Throughout Valor Mortis, you will find yourself completing quite a few complicated quests that require you to do a lot of running around, but this time you are quite lucky, as The Lullaby quest within Valor Mortis is actually quite simple and doesn’t require too many steps to complete.
How to Complete The Lullaby Quest in Valor Mortis
In order to activate The Lullaby quest in Valor Mortis, the first thing you will need to do is make sure you are in the third chapter of the game in the Fallen Village and have made it to the second lantern rest spot. Once you arrive at this second lantern, you will essentially be right next to the house you need to enter in order to begin this quest.
How to Trigger The Lullaby Quest

As we have said above, in order to trigger this quest, first you will need to be at the second lantern within the third chapter of the game, and you will then need to head to your left of the main path. You will know you are going the right way, as there is a path you cannot yet go through until you have a new power that you won’t have unlocked yet.
Now you are heading this way, you will see a house that you can enter, and once you do, there will be a cot for a baby in the centre of the room, and you will hear a baby crying; however, there is no baby inside. Instead, you will need to head into the next room of this house to find a note next to a portrait that informs you you basically need a doll to help the baby rest.
After you gain this note, you will need to head into the garden of the house, as there will be some enemies lurking back there, most likely the family of the baby who are guarding an item you will need to pick up, which is a key known as the Weathered Key, and this can be used to open a house from earlier within the game.
How to Use the Weathered Key

If you haven’t already seen the house, you need to use the Weathered Key. Do not worry, as we are here to help guide you there. The first step you will need to follow is head back past the second lantern rest spot and through the small carriage you used to get here and past the tall enemy that protects the entrance.
After you either defeat this enemy or run past it, you will need to head to the right and essentially run in reverse on how you got to the second lantern. You will need to head past a group of enemies that will be blocking your path before you get to a location with a house separated by a broken bridge; this is where you will need to go.
Now that you have arrived at the right house, you will then need to go inside and acquire a doll that can be found within the back room of the house on a bed.
What to do With the Doll

Once you acquire the doll from within the house, you will now have to do the simple task of returning it to its owner, which means you will need to head back through the group of enemies and past the tall enemy before climbing through the carriage and heading back to the house, unless of course you have already defeated these enemies, then you simply need to run through.
As you approach the house, you will again hear the baby crying from within the cot and this is where you will place the doll and cause the crying to stop.
After this you will complete the side quest and earn yourself the Tomorrow’s Promise item that you can equip in your skill tree to provide you with bonuses.
