So, you have started Valor Mortis and are looking for the first upgrade to your arsenal of weapons. Well, we have good news for you, as we are here to guide you to the Fire Transmutation weapon that will make taking down groups of enemies a breeze.
How to Get the Fire Transmutation in Valor Mortis
During the first act of Valor Mortis, you will be very disoriented as you are surrounded by corpses, odd tendrils, enemies that are no longer human, and so much more, but the coolest part of this intro is that you can acquire the Fire Transmutation before using it to burn your way through enemies and barriers alike.
To find this weapon, you will first need to follow the simple path that is ahead of you, as there isn’t a lot of exploration in this first area, but your first landmark will be the lantern you can rest at, as this is where your progress will be blocked by a flesh wall.

To push past this barrier, you will need to head to the right and follow a path under a tree that will take you to a small lake that an enemy will crawl out of. This enemy can be quite tough for beginners, so be careful. Once you defeat this enemy, you will need to follow the path up to the right, where you will eventually end up at a strange altar made of flesh tendrils and a dead body, or at least what seems like a dead body.
As you approach this dead body, he will reanimate, grab hold of you, and provide you with the Fire Transmutation that you can use to destroy the flesh wall and continue with your journey. Along with this, you can use the Fire Transmutation to create a flamethrower from your hands to burn enemies in a crowd in front of you.
