This particular ability is available in the middle of Chapter V, Vale of Wrath, so you´ll encounter several fast travel points along the way. However, the one you have to pay attention to is called Ship Graveyard. This spot is easy to find and is located in the middle of this area.

Once you begin walking forward, you´ll notice that you can access the next part of the map without this new ability. However, you’ll need it to unlock a platform that allows you to jump to the next area and continue exploring, finding new side quests, and progressing through the story mode.

Exploring in Both Directions

After reaching the lantern where you can activate fast travel, you need to carry on up the road, and you´ll see a shipwreck with a person who has a strange glow coming from their heart. Once you reach them, you´ll automatically receive the Nephtoglobin Formation ability.

You can try out this bizarre power for the first time beside the ship. You´ll create a platform made of this material, allowing you to reach new areas. You should go back to other parts of the game to find new locations, secrets, and more items to discover.
